Dr Amiya Bhaumik
Chief Executive and Director/Member of Board
Dr. Amiya Bhaumik is the CEO, Director, and Board Member of the Lincoln Institute of Higher Education in Sydney, Australia, and a globally recognized leader in higher education. With a Ph.D. and multiple advanced degrees across biology, psychology, culture, and international management, Dr. Bhaumik brings decades of experience in academic leadership, policy development, and international collaboration. He is the Founding President and former Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University College, Malaysia, which offers over 160 programs in more than 30 countries. Dr. Bhaumik has worked with numerous international universities and previously served as Director of International Affairs at Ottawa University (USA). Since 2022, he has also served as Mayor of the City of Akko in Gombe, Africa. Dr. Bhaumik has travelled to over 120 countries advancing global education and has been honored with the Bintang Cemerlang Melaka (B.C.M.) by the Government of Malaysia. He has authored over 200 research publications, edited volumes with major academic publishers, and serves as Editor-in-Chief for several journals in Malaysia and Australia. Guided by the philosophy that “Work is Worship,” Dr. Bhaumik is committed to expanding access to transformative education worldwide.
Mr. Saroj Ghimire
Registrar and Business Development Manager
Saroj Ghimire is a senior education and operations professional with over 14 years of experience across Higher Education, Vocational Education and Training (VET), and NSW Government education settings. He brings extensive expertise in campus operations, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, and organisational governance within complex education environments.
Saroj has held leadership roles including Campus Operations Manager, Community Partnership and Placement Manager, and Campus Coordinator, where he oversaw compliance with the ESOS Act and national standards, managed cross-functional teams, led large-scale projects, and supported strategic planning and business operations. His experience spans facilities and WHS management, IT systems integration, budgeting and financial oversight, staff recruitment and development, and policy and process improvement.
Recognised for his strong analytical skills and practical leadership style, Saroj is known for delivering efficient, compliant, and well-governed operations while supporting institutional objectives and continuous improvement.
