Dr Amiya Bhaumik

Chief Executive and Director/Member of Board

Dr. Amiya Bhaumik is the CEO, Director, and Board Member of the Lincoln Institute of Higher Education in Sydney, Australia, and a globally recognized leader in higher education. With a Ph.D. and multiple advanced degrees across biology, psychology, culture, and international management, Dr. Bhaumik brings decades of experience in academic leadership, policy development, and international collaboration. He is the Founding President and former Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University College, Malaysia, which offers over 160 programs in more than 30 countries. Dr. Bhaumik has worked with numerous international universities and previously served as Director of International Affairs at Ottawa University (USA). Since 2022, he has also served as Mayor of the City of Akko in Gombe, Africa. Dr. Bhaumik has travelled to over 120 countries advancing global education and has been honored with the Bintang Cemerlang Melaka (B.C.M.) by the Government of Malaysia. He has authored over 200 research publications, edited volumes with major academic publishers, and serves as Editor-in-Chief for several journals in Malaysia and Australia. Guided by the philosophy that “Work is Worship,” Dr. Bhaumik is committed to expanding access to transformative education worldwide.

Ms. Jayaletchumy Rajaratnam

Ms. Jayaletchumy Rajaratnam is a dedicated educator, administrator, and accomplished classical musician whose career spans several decades. Beginning her teaching journey at the age of 19, she has devoted her life to nurturing young talents and promoting excellence in classical music education.

A highly respected musician, Ms. Jayaletchumy has performed with numerous orchestras and was formerly a member of the Malaysian National Orchestra. Throughout her musical career, she has led and participated in a wide range of performances, cultural events, and educational programs. Her passion for teaching has enabled her to mentor students from diverse backgrounds, including the children and grandchildren of distinguished personalities and community leaders. She particularly enjoys working with young learners between the ages of 6 and 18, helping them develop both technical skills and a deep appreciation for classical music.

Since 2002, Ms. Jayaletchumy has served as a Director of Lincoln University College, Malaysia, where she plays a vital role in the institution’s administration and strategic operations. Her leadership, dedication, and compassionate approach have earned her the admiration of colleagues, staff, and students alike. Affectionately regarded as a “motherly director,” she is widely respected for her wisdom, guidance, and unwavering commitment to the growth and success of the university community.

Through her contributions to education, music, and institutional leadership, Ms. Jayaletchumy Rajaratnam continues to inspire excellence and positively impact the lives of those around her.

Mr. Jude Gibson

Jude is an experienced board director and C-suite executive with deep expertise in industrial relations, governance, workforce risk, and organisational transformation. She brings a proven track record of advising boards and executive teams across complex, highly regulated sectors including community services, infrastructure, FMCG, and listed corporates. Jude sits on several boards and has worked for large NFPs and corporates.

Recognised for strong governance oversight, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation capability, she has particular expertise in navigating workforce complexity, regulatory environments, and large-scale structural change. Jude is a collaborative and pragmatic director who contributes to constructive challenge, robust decision-making, and sustainable organisational performance.
