Orientation Process

Here is what you can expect during Orientation:

• A course-relevant Orientation designed to give you the best chance for success
• Interactive sessions and activities on student experience, academic success and careers support
• Opportunities to meet LIHE staff, faculty and your fellow students
• Receive a welcome pack
• Find out all about your course and enrol into your first subjects

When you arrive on LIHE campus you will be directed to the registration area to complete the Student Information Form. Please have the following:

• Student Number (this will be on your enrolment letter)
• Passport (if you are an International Student)
• Australian address and phone number
• Emergency contact

You will receive your welcome pack which includes:

• Student Handbook
• Student Quick Reference Guide
• Campus Map

After this, we will have your photo taken for your student identification (ID) card. This card will be your official form of ID on campus, and for use to get concessions for travel and other purchases.
