Venu Rao
Venu Rao is the Head of Marketing and Admissions at Lincoln Institute of Higher Education, Sydney, where he leads student recruitment, manages admissions workflows, and oversees both onshore and offshore operations. With over a decade of experience in international education and migration services, Venu has developed strong expertise in agent engagement, marketing coordination, and ensuring compliance with sector standards. He works closely with academic teams, agents, and compliance staff to support students throughout their admissions journey.
Venu holds a bachelor's degree in information systems, which supports his data-informed approach to marketing and operational planning. His leadership style combines practical problem-solving with a collaborative mindset.

Campus Manager
Mark Atkinson
Mark Atkinson is the Campus Manager of Lincoln Institute of Higher Education in Sydney, Australia.
Mark oversees the coordination of day-to-day campus operations.
He holds a diploma in Front Line Management and having owned and operated a successful surf wear company has decades of experience in business, and extensive experience in business operations management. He has also worked for many charities and not for profits, managing and organising events for the less abled.
Mark is passionate about creating a campus environment that enhances both the student and faculty experience at LIHE.
Outside of work he enjoys the Aussie outdoors of beach, bush, and sports, with family and friends.
Administrative Professional
Vijaya Lakshmi Ryali
Vijaya is an administrative professional higher education administration and educator with experience in early childhood education. She holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and has completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate III in Education Support, and Certificate IV in Business Administration (in progress).
She has been actively involved in student support, enrolment management, academic operations, and compliance at a newly established higher education institution. Vijaya has contributed to streamlining administrative processes, assisting in accreditation, and supporting the implementation of learning management systems such as Meshed and Canvas.
Her background also includes working in early childhood education, where she supported child development programs, facilitated special needs education, and helped create engaging learning environments. She is organised and adaptable with a strong commitment to enhancing student experiences and improving institutional processes.
Student Experience Manager & Academic Language and Learning Support Manager
Dr. Hema Malichah Govindarajan
Dr. Hema Malichah Govindarajan is a Lecturer and Manager – Academic Learning Support at LIHE, with over 12 years of teaching experience in higher education. She holds a BA, MA, M.Phil, and PhD in English, and has contributed to teaching, research, and curriculum development across a wide range of subjects.
Dr. Hema’s expertise includes literary theories such as Deconstruction, Avant-Gardism, Cultivation Theory, Simulacrum, Reader Response Theory, and Diaspora Studies. Her academic interests span ESL, Business English, Linguistics, Soft Skills, Journalism, Media Studies, Literary Criticism, Research Methodology, and Academic Literacy. Her doctoral thesis received high commendation, and she was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence during her postgraduate studies.
She has guided postgraduate research, presented and published widely, and served as keynote speaker, moderator, and panelist at international conferences. Outside academia, she enjoys reading, doodling, photography, and kayaking. Passionate about student development, she is especially committed to reviving a reading culture among young adults.
Lecturer
Dr Jason Chu
Dr Jason Chu is a dedicated lecturer with extensive experience in ICT at Lincoln Institute of Higher Education since January 2024, where he develops and delivers engaging course materials for the Master of Information Systems program. He has also served as a sessional lecturer at Western Sydney University and the University of Wollongong since 2016, teaching various subjects including Cyber Security, Database Systems, System Analysis and Visualization.
Dr Jason holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Western Sydney University, a Doctor of Ministry from Andersonville Theology Seminary, a Master's degree in Computer Research at Charles Sturt University, another master's degree in IT Management at Innotech Institute France, and a Graduate Certificate in Internetworking at University of Technology, Sydney.
His research focuses on cybersecurity, IoT, and AI deep learning and machine learning, with numerous publications in reputable journals. His commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment and his active participation in academic governance and research make him a valuable asset to any educational institution.
Academic Quality Development Manager
Gana Pathmanathan
Gana Pathmanathan is a passionate senior education management professional based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He began his career in education as a university tutor, driven by the rewarding experience of seeing students grasp concepts. His overarching passion is to contribute to institutions that prioritize student growth—professionally, academically, and personally—and value individuals as people first.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Gana has held significant roles such as Manager, Academic Quality and Development at Lincoln Institute of Higher Education, Program Development Manager at The Institute of International Studies, and Academic Director at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange. His expertise includes project planning, higher education management, public speaking, and curriculum development. He has successfully managed academic services, developed courses, led teams, and optimized operational processes, consistently receiving positive feedback from stakeholders.
Gana holds a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Charles Sturt University and an MISc in Databases from the University of New South Wales.
Academic Experience Manager
Saif Uddin Ahmed
Saif Uddin Ahmed is the Student Experience Manager at LIHE in Sydney, with over 15 years of experience, including extensive work in higher education, Saif has contributed to a range of student-focused initiatives, including academic support services, student engagement programs, and institutional operations. His expertise lies in building inclusive and supportive campus environments that enhance student wellbeing and success.
Saif holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Western Sydney and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from North South University. Throughout his career, he has worked across educational and professional sectors, bringing a student-centred approach to administrative leadership and student services.
Outside of his professional role, Saif enjoys community engagement, staying informed about developments in education, and exploring ways to support student growth and resilience. He is passionate about creating enriching student experiences and fostering a strong sense of community on campus
Human Resources Officer
Timothy Davey
Tim is a Marketing and Human Resources professional with over three years of experience across the education, non-profit, and consumer health sectors. Since 2024, he has served as an HR Officer at the Lincoln Institute of Higher Education, where he manages recruitment, staff training, and student support services. Prior to this, he worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Raise Foundation (2023–2024), promoting youth mentoring programs and improving school engagement. From 2022 to 2023, he was an Assistant Brand Manager at Pharmacare, coordinating digital campaigns and market reporting initiatives.
Currently pursuing a Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling at Western Sydney University, Tim also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Human Resource Management (2019). His unique blend of marketing expertise and growing knowledge in mental health underscores their passion for creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive workplace environments.
Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, SEO, and recruitment, he brings a creative and people-centered approach to organisational development. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in nature, reading, music, and exercise, reflecting a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle.

Laxmi Prasad Shrestha
Laxmi is an IT Support professional with over a decade of experience spanning the technology and facilities management sectors. He brings a solid background in troubleshooting, technical support, and customer service, with a proven ability to resolve system issues and ensure the seamless operation of IT infrastructure.
His career began in the facilities management industry, where he developed a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail. Since 2013, he has worked in the education sector in an IT support capacity, delivering dependable technical assistance and end-user support. His ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships has made him a trusted link between technical teams and users.
He holds an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology from the Australian College of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University. Self-motivated, dependable, and results-driven, he excels in collaborative environments and continuously seeks opportunities to expand his skills and contribute to organizational success.

Ram Krishnan
Ram Krishnan is the Campus Co-ordinator at LIHE in Sydney, where he is responsible for supporting a wide range of campus operations, including student engagement, events, administration, and facilities management. With over a decade of experience in environmental project management, education, and research, Ram brings a strong organisational focus, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive campus environment. He has led large-scale conservation projects, coordinated volunteer teams, and delivered environmental education programs across diverse sectors.
Ram holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Brain, Behaviour & Evolution from Macquarie University, along with multiple qualifications in land management and ecological restoration. As a long-time volunteer with the Vedanta Centre, he has coordinated community events and educational initiatives, contributing to cultural and social wellbeing. Passionate about student support and campus life, Ram excels in building strong relationships and creating environments where students feel welcome, supported, and inspired to thrive. In his spare time, Ram enjoys reading, cooking, and being in nature.
