Orientation Process

Here is what you can expect during Orientation:

A course-relevant Orientation designed to give you the best chance for success
Interactive sessions and activities on student experience, academic success and careers support
Opportunities to meet LIHE staff and your fellow students
Receive a Welcome pack with free LIHE merchandise
Find out all about your course and enrol into your first subjects

When you arrive on LIHE campus you will be directed to the registration area. Here you will be required to have the following information to complete the Student Information Form:

Student Number (this will be on your enrolment letter)
Passport (if you are an International Student)
Australian address and phone number
Emergency contact

You will receive your Welcome Pack. The pack includes:

Student Handbook
Student Quick Reference Guide
Campus Map

From here you will go to have your photo taken for your Student ID card. This card is your official form of ID on campus, so ensure you have it on you at all times.

Orientation Checklist

Before you leave orientation, ensure you have all of the following checked off:

Signed Student Acknowledgement Form

Received your Welcome pack

Received your Student ID

Attendance at the Academic and Student Experience presentations

Taken a tour of Campus with our Student Experience team
